    • Program admin fee

    • Visa fee
    • Flight

All fees are paid by the applicant at different stages as the application progresses. There is a registration fee, an interview fee after matching with an employer, placement fee and then the balance before DS 2019 form issuance. Once issued, we proceed to set up a visa interview by paying the visa fee directly to the embassy and then buy flight tickets upon visa approval.

      Are there sponsorships available?
      • Hospitality industry posts often come with a loan from employers that cover program fees, but this is not a one size that fits all. It differs from different employers.
      • Some farmers will help with ticket fares when an application reaches that stage.
      • G2U has a long waiting list for program admin fees only on loan.
How do we know this is not a scam and we will be safe?
      • G2U is a registered company in SA and can be verified with the CIPC using registration #2017/66744/07
      • Read testimonials on our website.
      • Visit Cultural Homestay International website and look for their partners in SA, read testimonials from there as well.

How long does the application process take?

1-3 months depending on demand from employers

How much do interns get paid and who pay for accommodation?
      • 15 Dollars per hour average for the USA.
      • 14 Euros per hour for Germany.
      • Accommodation is arranged and costs vary from different states and company benefits, this gets discussed during the interview and students receive a training plan that outlines where they will reside, what it will cost, responsibilities, expectations, employer contact information and assigned program coordinators details for support.
Can one extend their visa upon completion?
      • USA J1 visa programs cannot be extended. Strong home ties are among the strong reasons they evaluate before approving visa because they discourage people from overstaying their visas. There is 2 years waiting period to re-apply.
      • Germany visas can be extended up to 3 years depending on the employer’s preference.
Are there refunds if one decides to withdraw or cancel?

We have a refund policy paperwork that forms part of all paperwork needed prior to submitting a complete application to our partners (CHI and Bixter)
